Thank you for your interest in supporting the Western North Carolina Sculpture Center! Here are some of the targeted projects that we are actively raising support for, and a bit about how your gift will impact our organization's growth.
Indoor Gallery
We are eager to renovate an existing office space in our studio to convert it into an indoor gallery space. This will enable us to exhibit works not intended for outdoor exposure and thus broaden and diversify both the work that we present and the backgrounds of the artists who we represent. This will also allow us to offer merchandise, functional works, and smaller works to bring in a steady revenue stream to help sustain our organization!

ADA Compliant Restrooms
Converting our current restrooms into ADA compliance grants further accommodations for our cherished park and event visitors. This will also alleviate the expense related to port-a-john rental for 9 months out of the year, thus saving resources over time to build upon our educational programming and community offerings. Another advantage of ADA compliance is that it earns us the credential to get a DOT tourism sign on 321 to guide and inform travelers of WNCSC.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to our organization's sustainability by supporting inclusive accommodations and alleviating ongoing expenses.
Studio Electrical Upgrade to incorporate 3 phase
As we anticipate to grow our studio capacity we have been laying the ground work to increase our electrical capacity in order to accommodate that growth. It is our interest to bring ceramics into our studio repertoire. This energy-intensive medium alone encourages this upgrade, not to mention additional equipment that will require added electrical needs. Please consider helping with this well-needed enhancement to our studio so that we can broaden educational programming for our community.
